Hi, there!

I'm Ray Katz and that's me with my golden doodle, Gus. This is my personal website. I've had my own website since perhaps 1995. I'm one of the first web developers ever in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

I have some rather varied interests: writing, piano (which I play badly!), space flight history (I collect historic memorabilia); the author James Thurber, web technology, the United States Constitution, philosophy—especially the Stoics, author Etgar Keret, Apple products, urban life, animation, museums, and pretty much anything with a good story.

I have a tendency to like people in general, including people who have opinions and ideas that greatly diverge from my own.

I quit nearly all social media a few years ago, but you can find some of my work on Medium.com and, of course, here on this website.

In particular, I am especially proud of my (very) short stories. Okay, well I'm proud of some of them. Contact me!
